At the Green street near the park

And my boots they kept me walking
To that old familiar bar
Where we used to sit for hours
Yet those days they gone too far

I’ve been sailing on these waters
For too long and it ain’t right
I’ve been drowning aching memories
In the cold winds of the night

Well this never been an option
To erase my mind with booze
But sometimes I have a great notion
To insert my head on the noose, so
